About Us
Our Purpose
The purpose of the Central Oklahoma Women's Golf Association (COWGA) is to promote and conserve among women golfers of Oklahoma the best interests and true spirit of the game as embodied in its ancient honorable tradition -- And to provide a forum for women golfers in Oklahoma to come together and share their love of golf in a fun and competitive spirit.
Membership
COWGA holds monthly tournaments (April through October) that are open to members of all levels. Members are flighted and always compete with other players with similar handicaps.
Play Day's & Tournaments
We have a monthly "Play Day", usually on the first Monday of the month, starting in April and continuing until the last tournament in October. In 2024 we have 3 "Tournaments" that will payout the day of or last day of the tournament. The tournaments are Kick-off Mixer Scramble, The Solheim Cup, and The Medalist. End-of-year Play Days awards will be paid out at the Medalist tournament in October.
